"I'm a Lawyer." Said the White House Press Secretary. Florida Would Like a Word

An individual has filed complaints with the Florida and California Bar associations alleging that the White House Press Secretary is practicing law without a license by claiming to be a lawyer. The author argues that while she holds a law degree, she lacks the necessary licensure to represent herself as a practicing attorney.
Why it matters
It raises questions about professional ethics and legal standards for high-level government officials.
TL;DR: The new White House Press Secretary keeps telling national TV she’s a lawyer, and no bar in America has her on file. In Florida, that’s a felony. Tonight I filed UPL complaints with The Florida Bar and the State Bar of California and sent copies to two DAs. This isn’t my first trip to the Bar’s Tampa UPL office, either. Last year I filed six there, and all six were accepted, investigated, and are now sitting in front of the local UPL committee.
Tonight I filed an unlicensed-practice-of-law complaint with The Florida Bar against the new White House Press Secretary, Kate Sharon Zacharia, who you know as Katie. Then I filed a second one with the State Bar of California and sent copies to the district attorneys in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, because if you’re going to do a thing, you might as well do it right.
