When I turned 40, I started to think more and more about the distance between me and my dads. Soon after, I moved home and a year later, I'm still happy with that decision. When I think back to how my life looked this time last year, I can't help but laugh out loud. Last August, I was sipping cocktails by the pool at White City House with London illuminated in the background, wondering if I was ready to let this life go.
