I was raised in the United States, but my husband grew up in the United Kingdom. In the UK, eggs are not refrigerated, and ordering a coffee won't get you what you'd get in the US. Things normal to me in the US aren't in the UK, like celebrating Halloween or tipping bartenders. I was born and raised on the East Coast of the United States. After moving to Scotland in the fall of 2017, I met my husband and settled into life in the United Kingdom as an expat for several years.
