Those were the words Mitchells Plain father Brent Petersen stood among the charred remains of what was once his Rocklands home after a devastating fire ripped through the family’s property in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Petersen recalled the moment he realised his Grade 12 son, Yaseen van Wyk, was still inside the burning home.
