The family of a Hyderabadi man living in the U.S. who died in his sleep has sought the assistance of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to repatriate his body at the earliest.

Mohammed Jaber Hussain was the only son of his parents and had moved to the US in 2021 to pursue higher education. Mr. Hussain ,28, belonged to the Santoshnagar neighbourhood in Hyderabad, and was recently married.

Majlis Bachao Tehreek spokesperson Amjedullah Khan, who has been handling cases involving non-resident Indians in distress for the past several years, is coordinating with the family and MEA.

After completing an engineering course at the University of New Haven in Connecticut, Mohammed Jaber Hussain pursued a master’s degree at the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky.
