Hyderabad District Collector Priyanka Ala on Tuesday directed officials of all departments to work in coordination and make foolproof arrangements for the upcoming Golconda Bonalu festivities, stressing that devotees should not face any inconvenience during the celebrations.
Reviewing the preparations during a field inspection at the Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Temple inside Golconda Fort, the Collector reviewed arrangements related to the movement of devotees, queue management, sanitation, drinking water, electricity, security and other civic amenities.
Officials were asked to remain on alert as the first Bonam procession, the inaugural pooja and the presentation of Pattu Vastram by Ministers and other dignitaries are scheduled for July 16.
