Hybrid VAE-GAN generative framework for multi-objective spatial performance optimization of residential landscape morphology

A new generative design framework using VAE-GAN technology was developed to optimize residential landscape morphology based on multiple performance metrics. The model successfully balanced trade-offs in microclimate, aesthetics, and accessibility, outperforming human-designed benchmarks in test parcels.
