Hungarian Grand Prix 2026: Where to watch the Formula 1 race, TV schedule, how to stream, and more
The 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix is set to take place this weekend, with Apple TV serving as the exclusive U.S. broadcaster for the event. Fans can access the race and related content through Apple TV or the Yahoo Sports Racing Hub.
Why it matters
The shift of Formula 1 to an exclusive streaming model on Apple TV marks a significant change in how major sports leagues distribute content to U.S. audiences.
This weekend's Formula 1 race is the Hungarian Grand Prix, held at the Hungaroring near Budapest. The track, known for its numerous turns and lack of straights, is iconic, and this year, Lando Norris will defend his title after winning the race in 2025. Formula 1 Practices and qualifying races will take place on Friday and Saturday, and the Grand Prix is scheduled for Sunday at 9 a.m. ET.
If you're tuning in from home, you should know that this year, F1 has moved to streaming exclusively on Apple TV in the U.S. So if you want to catch this weekend's race in Belgium live, you'll need access to Apple TV (or F1 TV Premium , now free with an Apple TV subscription). In addition to watching on Apple TV, you can also tune into F1 practice sessions and qualifying races via the Yahoo Sports Racing Hub .
