Human chain formed to mark eye donation fortnight
Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital organized a human chain in India to promote National Eye Donation Fortnight. The event aimed to dispel myths about eye donation and encourage the public to pledge their eyes for corneal transplants.

Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital organised a human chain to mark the National Eye Donation Fortnight. More than 150 members of the public, along with doctors and staff from the hospital, participated. They formed the human chain to spread the message of pledging one’s eyes and dispelling common myths surrounding eye donation. The event drew attention to the pressing need for corneal transplants in India, where a large number of patients continue to wait for a suitable donor due to limited awareness.
