Imam Sab, a retired teacher, of Hire Bengideri village at Shiggaon taluk in Haveri district, had a fall in his bathroom, resulting in a hip bone fracture that made him immobile.
Although the family had approached various hospitals for treatment, several doctors had advised against going for surgery considering the complications related to his old age.
However, when the family approached Dr. Rao, he decided perform the surgery after examining various health parameters.
