This is the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro in Pine Green, and we’re taking a closer look at it ahead of our full review.

Let’s start with the unboxing experience. Huawei is still using its proprietary magnetic charging puck, which is wired to a USB-A cable. That’s the only accessory you get in the package. We were hoping for a detachable USB-C connector by now, but there’s always next year.

The overall design of the GT 7 Pro is quite similar to the GT 6 Pro , though there are some subtle changes. The first one is the new screen bezel, which is color-matched to the watch strap.

Speaking of the strap, it brings a new tuck-under approach, which is actually quite useful. It stays in place and doesn’t wiggle around when you’re out and about.
