Huawei Mate 90 series to get two new display upgrades next week

Huawei Mate 90 series will likely debut next week, and while its launch date still requires an official announcement, a new leak suggests that the flagship can bring two significant hardware-level display upgrades – and it’s not about Privacy Screen technology!

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus noted that the Huawei Mate 90 will get two new display upgrades next week. These don’t list Privacy Screen or 10000-nit peak brightness, but a new dual-layer OLED technology and third-gen Kunlun Glass combination.

This fusion can even cancel out the need for tempered glass on the Mate 90 smartphones’ screens.

Starting with the display tech, the tipster said the new Mate 90 series will use a “Linglong screen”. This could be the same anti-reflective screen debuted with the Pura 90 Pro Max , which works as an extra layer of safety on the main display panel.
