After 23 years at the helm, Monty Don announced that he is stepping down from the BBC’s long-running Gardeners' World series, bringing an end to one of the longest and most recognisable chapters in British gardening television."I have decided that the current series of Gardeners' World is to be my last," Monty Don, 71, confirmed earlier this month.
