Two captains, four in total, of the national boxing team, the Bombers, have reportedly vanished in Scotland before the official closure of the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
The quadruple went missing as the team prepared for its journey back home following the Games.
Those reported missing include the Bombers' captain and welterweight Nuhu "Muzaata Batteso" Batte, and the She Bombers (national women's boxing team) welterweight Emily Nakalema.
The duo is joined by lightweight Ibrahim Kemis and flyweight Angel Katushabe, respectively.
Their disappearance means that only light heavyweight Alfred "Gorilla" Ojok and heavyweight Abdul Aziz "Ringo", the grandson of former Ugandan president Idi Amin are expected to return home from the six-member boxing squad that represented Uganda at the Games.
