Our bodies have the surprising ability to hold both good and bad news together, rejoicing at one, grieving at another. Often, we let them run parallel like railway tracks, understanding that both come and go on our journey through life. Sometimes we push one away and dwell on the other. Once in a while, we synthesize the experiences as we process them. This week, we’re going to try and do just that.
UN Women has come out with a report that says, “…organizations providing life-saving services to women and girls are running out of money.” This is primarily because of funding cuts to international organisations. Nine in 10 organisations say they can no longer meet the needs of those who reach out to them.
