Houston's Greenspoint Mall to be razed for $150M 80-acre industrial park

For years, the largely vacant Greenspoint Mall has stood as a reminder of how dramatically Houston’s retail landscape has changed. Now, the former North Houston shopping centre is headed for demolition, with a much different future planned for the property. Lincoln Property Company, in partnership with New York Life Investment Management, announced plans for CityNorth Industrial Park, a $150 million redevelopment covering approximately 80 acres. According to Lincoln’s announcement, the project will replace the former mall with 1.2 million square feet of industrial buildings, along with retail and service uses.
