Namuganza made the call in a speech delivered on her behalf by Dave Khayangayanga, Director at the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, during the opening of the second edition of the Uganda Real Estate and Housing Expo at Kingdom Kampala Gardens on Friday
KAMPALA – Government has called for increased investment and innovative financing mechanisms to unlock more capital for Uganda’s housing and construction sector as rapid urbanisation and population growth continue to increase demand for homes and infrastructure.
State Minister for Housing, Princess Persis Namuganza, said the sector needs long-term and patient capital to support sustainable housing development, infrastructure expansion and urban growth.
