Three masked men allegedly decamped with gold jewellery and cash from a house at Kuppanaickanur in Namakkal on Monday evening.
The police said that the houseowner, K. Suriya (29), had gone to his father’s residence at Gandhipuram. On Monday evening, he returned to his house and found the door lock broken. He checked the house and found that 20 sovereign of jewellery and ₹17 lakh in cash were missing.
