Hosapete: AIDSO protests police excesses against students in New Delhi
Members of the AIDSO staged a protest in Hosapete to condemn alleged police violence against students in New Delhi. The students were demonstrating against irregularities in the NEET-UG examination and are calling for the abolition of the NTA.

Members of the All India Democratic Students’ Organisation (AIDSO) staged a protest in front of the tahsildar’s office in Hosapete on Wednesday (July 22) condemning the alleged police excesses against students protesting in New Delhi over irregularities in the NEET-UG examination.
Following the demonstration, the protesters submitted a memorandum addressed to the President of India through the tahsildar.
AIDSO Vijayanagara district president Ravikiran J.P. alleged that students staging a peaceful protest in New Delhi against the exam irregularities had been subjected to lathi-charge, tear gas and other coercive measures by the Delhi police.
He alleged that lakhs of students from poor and middle-class families were being forced to spend heavily on coaching while the examination system had become vulnerable to corruption and paper leaks. He claimed that the National Testing Agency (NTA) had repeatedly failed to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
