Former Cork hurling great Patrick Horgan hit out at the Cork county board over the sequence of events which led to Pat Ryan's resignation as manager following the 2025 season.
The 38-year old forward, who retired from inter-county hurling as the all-time leading scorer in championship history in 2025 (since surpassed by TJ Reid), is currently preparing for another Cork SHC decider, his 0-11 point haul helping to see off Midleton in Sunday's semi-final and tee up a final with city rivals, St Finbarr's.
On Thursday afternoon, his autobiography 'Hoggie' was launched in the Glen Rovers club house, in which the legendary attacker opens up about his final season with the county team in 2025.
The season had concluded with an agonising and shocking defeat to Tipperary in that year's All-Ireland final, the fourth final defeat in Horgan's long career.
