HONOR Watch 6 Launched In Malaysia, Featuring Professional Badminton And Football Modes
HONOR has launched its Watch 6 smartwatch in Malaysia, featuring specialized tracking modes for badminton and football. The device includes advanced health monitoring, an AI-powered voice recorder, and a long-lasting battery with a high-brightness AMOLED display.
Why it matters
This release highlights the trend of integrating niche professional sports analytics into consumer-grade wearable technology.
The HONOR Watch 6 smartwatch is now available for purchase in Malaysia, offering more than 120 built-in sports modes, along with dedicated Professional Badminton Mode and Professional Football Mode, both of which HONOR said are available without additional app downloads or subscription fees.
Here’s what the new aforementioned modes do in the HONOR Watch 6: the Professional Badminton Mode tracks swing speed, hitting power, number of swings and longest consecutive hits, and categorizes specific shot types, including smashes and clears, while calculating forehand-to-backhand and overhand-to-underhand ratios; the Professional Football Mode provides post-match analysis, including heat maps and movement trajectory data showing player positioning during a match.
