Honor MagicOS 11 debuts with smoother UI, user-friendly AI, and more

On September 15, Honor MagicOS 11 debuts with brand-new features for all of the eligible devices. From a smoother and more fluent UI to a super user-friendly AI assistant, the company has significantly revamped its new software iteration.
Honor debuts MagicOS 11 at its 2026 Global Developer Conference. The OEM said the official version will be open for unlimited testing right after the event and is compatible with many models.
Starting with the core, Honor has used a Glazed Architecture for MagicOS 11 that reconstructs Android 17 from scratch to unlock a more transparent UI. That makes MagicOS the first Android skin to achieve the Liquid Glass effect.
It not only supports pre-planned unified rendering but also enables users to adjust transparency without going through various steps, leading to almost zero power consumption growth.
