Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district administrations have declared a holiday for all schools and pre-university colleges in the twin districts on Saturday in view of an orange alert. The holiday is also applicable to all anganwadis, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnics offering diploma courses.
