In the latest turn of events, Hockey India secretary general Bholanath Singh has called for an executive board meeting on Tuesday (October 6) even as president Dilip Tirkey has called it unapproved.

Bholanath, currently here for the Asian Games, issued the mail on Thursday afternoon calling for an EB to approve the agenda for the previous meeting and discuss the elections to Hockey Odisha. “Notice is hereby given that the 120th Executive Committee meeting of Hockey India will be held at 1200 hrs on October 6, 2026, at the Hockey India office in New Delhi,” the mail stated.
