Hong Kong actress Michelle Wai was rushed to hospital on July 30 after sustaining a serious facial injury while filming her new drama, Lies Hunter .
Her husband, aesthetic doctor Kenley Chau, revealed in a statement that Wai, 41, suffered heavy bleeding after broken glass caused a deep tear to her upper lip.
According to Hong Kong outlet The Standard , the injury damaged Wai’s skin, lip tissue, muscles and a blood vessel.
