Speaking at a beauty and wellness brand event in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, the 49-year-old stressed that the experience had not changed his fondness for the state.
The TVB star said he still enjoyed his time in Melaka and praised its picturesque scenery.
“Melaka is a very beautiful place with lots of beautiful cafes,” he said.
Chan also recalled a memorable experience during the trip, saying he and his wife – former Miss Hong Kong finalist Phoebe Sin – were recognised by staff at another restaurant and treated to a complimentary meal.
“It felt really nice,” he said, adding that the couple would definitely return to Melaka in the future.
