HIV awareness quiz, marathon to be held in Ernakulam

The Kerala State AIDS Control Society and local partners are organizing a quiz and marathon in Ernakulam to raise HIV/AIDS awareness among students. The events are scheduled for July 31 at Government Maharaja’s College.

Quiz and marathon competitions will be held in the district to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among school and college students. The competitions are being jointly organised by the Kerala State AIDS Control Society, the Department of Health and Family Welfare and the National Service Scheme at the district level ahead of International Youth Day.
The quiz competition, open to students of Classes VIII, IX and XI in the district, will be held at Government Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, at 11 a.m. on July 31. The marathon for college students is open to participants aged between 17 and 24.
