A history-sheeter was found murdered in a farm near Koodankulam in the district on Friday.
Police said ‘Thoothukudi Selvam’, 41, of Karumbattur near Thenthamraikulam in Kanniyakumari district, who was living in Thalamuthu Nagar on Thoothukudi outskirts, was facing 27 cases, including six murder cases. During an encounter with the police last year, he was shot at the leg.
After being released on bail, Selvam went to Koodankulam to meet his friends. When he was in a farm at Sanganeri with his friends, he was hacked to death.
