Historian T. Murugeshi of Udupi chosen for Dr. Srinivas Havanoor Memorial Award
Senior historian and archaeologist T. Murugeshi from Udupi has been selected for the Dr. Srinivas Havanoor Memorial Award by the Karnataka Ithihasa Academy. The award will be presented during the academy's 40th annual conference in late October.

The Karnataka Ithihasa Academy, Bengaluru, has selected T. Murugeshi, senior historian and archaeologist from Udupi, for the Dr. Srinivas Havanoor Memorial Award.
The award carries a cash prize of ₹10,000 and a certificate.
It will be presented to him during the three-day 40th annual conference of the academy, to be held at Hiremath Samsthana, Bhalki, in Bidar district, from October 23, according to a release.
