Hire more nephrologists, medical staff at kidney research centre: YSRCP to govt.
The YSRCP has urged the government to increase medical staffing at the Palasa Kidney Research Centre to address critical shortages. The party also criticized the current administration for neglecting regional healthcare and industrial issues.

YSR Congress Party’s State Secretary and the party’s Palasa district in-charge Yenni Dhanunjaya Rao on Sunday urged the government to appoint more number of nephrologists, senior doctors and medical staff to serve the kidney patients at kidney research centre and area hospitals of Srikakulam district.
He stated in a release that the kidney patients were facing many problems with the lack of sufficient number of doctors and staff at Palasa Kidney research centre established during Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tenure.
Mr. Rao submitted a memorandum over the issues of Palasa region to Mr. Jagan in Vijayawada a couple of days ago. He accused the government of ignoring the issues of kidney patients, workers of Palasa cashew factories and irrigation projects of the region.
