An eight-vehicle pileup occurred between the Iron and Ein Tut junctions on Highway 6 north on Monday morning.Approximately 18 people were injured in the crash, of whom 10 were transported to the Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera. The crash follows a series of serious accidents on Israeli roads in recent weeks. Earlier in September, two people were killed, and six others were injured in traffic accidents across the country over one weekend, including a fatal hit-and-run on Route 553 near Moshav Porat. On September 14, a man in his 30s was killed, and a woman in her 40s was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Route 762 near Rechasim.
