GURGAON: Traffic on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway (NH-48) came to a standstill for more than two hours on Saturday after a high-voltage power transmission line snapped and fell across the carriageway near Gurugram, narrowly missing vehicles and pedestrians.The incident forced authorities to immediately stop traffic movement in both directions as a precautionary measure, leading to massive congestion on one of the busiest stretches connecting Delhi and Jaipur, according to news agency PTI.The closure disrupted traffic on the highway for several hours, leaving commuters stranded in long queues amid intense heat.
