Health department secures limited doses of Mpox vaccines

The health department has secured limited doses of Mpox vaccines as part of its response to local transmissions.

22 Mpox cases have been confirmed in parts of the country.

This including 18 cases in the Western Cape, three in Gauteng, and one in Kwazulu-Natal.

The department is urging anyone who has been in contact with a patient to seek immediate treatment.
