Health apps and feeds reshape doctor visits, surveys of US adults show

New research from Yale School of Medicine indicates that patients are increasingly bringing data from wearable health devices and social media to doctor appointments. While this increases patient engagement, it creates challenges for clinicians in integrating non-standardized data into care.
