Rajya Sabha member Lingamaneni Ramesh has defended his son, who has been booked for causing the death of a 26-year-old woman in a road accident in Hyderabad, saying the 21-year-old took the victim to hospital without delay, reported the crash to the police himself, and is cooperating fully with the investigation."It is deeply unfortunate and heartbreaking that the road accident which occurred in Hyderabad on August 16, and which led to the death of the young woman," the Jana Sena Party MP from Andhra Pradesh said. "We will extend every possible support to the bereaved family," he added.The MP asked that the case not be judged before the investigation concludes. "I request you all not to speculate or prejudge the circumstances," he said.He acknowledged that his son was driving the Aston Martin car at the time of the crash.
