During last week’s match between the two arch rivals, Mitchell was involved in a huge hit on the young halfback that immediately created an echo around Allianz Stadium.

While the tackle was legal and it forced Rodwell to knock the ball on, Mitchell decided to stand over Rodwell following the collision - a moment that didn’t sit well with Tedesco.

“He [Rodwell] was all right, he copped a bit of a hit,” Tedesco told 9News Sydney.
