Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) interim Lightweight champion Tony Ferguson will return to the boxing ring to defend his Misfits Middleweight title against former soccer player Kenzo Biyong on Sept. 26, 2026, inside James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida.

Misfits Boxing announced the bizarre matchup this weekend. The five-round title fight will stream live on DAZN.

Ferguson, 42, has found new life since departing UFC on the heels of a record-setting eight-fight losing streak. "El Cucuy" snapped his nearly six-year winless drought in Aug. 2025, stopping popular influencer Salt Papi in the third round of his Misfits debut ( watch highlights ).
