As has been done during the last four years, the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has allowed a three-day public celebration of Ganesha festival at Idgah Maidan located adjacent to Kittur Chennamma Circle in Hubballi.

This year too, the Rani Chennamma Maidan Gajanan Utsava Mahamandali, which was permitted to erect a Ganesha pandal at the Idgah Maidan last year, has been allowed to hold the public celebration of Ganesha festival at the venue from September 14 to 16.

Permitting the celebration, the municipal corporation has asked the Mahamandali office-bearers to strictly adhere to the conditions laid down.
