The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed today that Hayden Panettiere’s death was caused by the toxic effects of fentanyl , Xanax , and several other drugs found in her system.
The coroner’s official statement stated, “The cause of death has been ruled as toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine.” The office added that there were “no signs of trauma” and said that the manner of death has been ruled accidental.
The South Carolina medical examiner’s findings ultimately point to the combined toxic effects of multiple substances that proved fatal.
