Congress legislator Ramya Haridas, at the centre of a controversy over her late-night fracas at the home of a party worker at Chirayankeezhu here last week, gave her statement to former KPCC president M.M. Hassan, who is heading a three-member committee probing the incident that caused significant reputational damage to the United Democratic Front (UDF) government, at Indira Bhavan on Wednesday.
“I gave the M.M. Hassan commission an honest account of what transpired and the circumstances that precipitated the incident. I hope and believe the commission will reach a just conclusion,” Ms. Haridas told reporters.
