Hassan district administration receives 1,076 applications during Praja Seva Abhiyana meeting

The Hassan district administration received 1,076 applications during a Praja Seva Abhiyana meeting held in the district under the chairmanship of Excise Minister K.M. Shivalinge Gowda on Saturday (September 5).

Of the applications received, officers resolved 62 on the spot. The Minister directed officials to resolve the remaining applications within a period ranging from 15 days to two months, depending on the nature of the issue raised.

Mr. Gowda, who is also the Minister in charge of the district, said a majority of the applications — over 700 — related to the Department of Survey, Settlement and Land Records. He instructed officers to resolve these in a time-bound manner and keep his office updated on the progress of redressal. He added that if a particular application could not be resolved, the officer concerned should inform the applicant of the specific reasons.
