Harvard executive education programme to be offered in Hyderabad from December: Revanth

Harvard University will offer executive education programmes in Hyderabad from December, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said on Thursday.
He was speaking at a meeting with a 30-member delegation representing UK business schools and universities at the MCR HRD Institute here. The delegation included UK House of Lords member Karan Bilimoria, British Council Director Janaka Pushpanathan, Chartered Association of Business Schools CEO Flora Hamilton and representatives of the British Deputy High Commission.
The Chief Minister said the government was prepared to extend all necessary support to international universities and business schools seeking to establish a presence in Telangana. He said the process for setting up offshore campuses by institutions such as MIT and Purdue had already begun.
Partnerships with Harvard, MIT, University of London, Virginia Tech and Northeastern University could be developed in areas such as executive programmes, dual-degree courses, faculty training and research, he said.
