Harish Rao flays notification for supply of liquor, instead of jobs for Telangana youth

BRS leader T. Harish Rao has criticized the Telangana government for prioritizing a liquor supply notification over job creation for unemployed youth. He argues the government is failing to fulfill its election promise of providing two lakh jobs.
Why it matters
It reflects the political friction in Telangana regarding economic priorities and the government's perceived failure to address youth unemployment.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has criticised the Revanth Reddy Government in Telangana for issuing a notification (by the Telangana Breweries Corporation Ltd) for supply 121 brands of liquor, when lakhs of unemployed youth are awaiting job notifications.
In a statement, senior leader of the party and former minister T. Harish Rao sought to know what was the urgency in giving the notification for supply of liquor on priority basis instead of issuing job notifications — to assure the future of the youth.
