Former minister and senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao has alleged that farmers were not being given even 12-hour power supply a day at a stretch, leave alone government claims of round-the-clock supply.

Speaking during a surprise visit to the Motakondur sub-station in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday, he sought to know why the log books to record supply timings were not being kept in the sub-stations. He stated that the staff of the sub-station had hidden the log book on the directions of the ruling party leaders fearing that it would reveal facts about power supply to the farm sector.
