NEW DELHI: Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Connaught Place Vivek Bhagat, who was promoted to the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Addl DCP), has sought withdrawal of the order assigning him the post, citing an ongoing inquiry into allegations of sexual harassment.Following his request to step aside pending the inquiry, the Delhi government modified its administrative order assigning the current duty charge of Addl DCP to 12 Selection Grade DANIPS officers.Earlier, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu had approved assigning the current duty charge (CDC) of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police to 12 DANIPS officers posted with the Delhi Police with immediate effect.
