Handloom bazaar inaugurated in Vijayawada
The Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh has inaugurated a handloom bazaar at PVP Square Mall in Vijayawada to promote traditional weaving and handicrafts. The event, running until October 4, aims to support local artisans and educate the younger generation about India's cultural heritage.

A handloom bazaar organised by Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh (CCAP) was inaugurated at PVP Square Mall in Vijayawada on Thursday.
NTR District Collector G. Lakshmisha inaugurated a handloom bazaar and appreciated the initiatives being taken by the CCAP to promote the State’s rich handloom and handicraft traditions.
Such events would help create awareness among the younger generation about the rich traditions and contribute to preserving the crafts for future generations, he said and lauded the CCAP for working towards the sustainable development of handlooms and handicrafts without a profit motive.
