LAHORE - Former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Hamza Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday visited Multan to offer condolences to Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar and his brother Malik Munir Iqbal Channar over the death of their father, PML-N MNA Malik Iqbal Channar.
Describing Malik Iqbal Channar's death as a loss for the party, Hamza said his sons had carried forward their father's political legacy.
He noted that Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar's appointment as deputy speaker of the Punjab Assembly reflected his importance within the party.
