THE inauguration of the Ohangwena Time Square Complex by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah marks a new chapter for the region’s economy, said Ohangwena Regional Governor Kadiva Hamutumwa.

Speaking at the ceremony in Helao Nafidi, Hamutumwa called on investors to seize opportunities in the north, describing the new shopping complex as more than just commercial infrastructure.

“It is a statement of confidence in Helao Nafidi, in Ohangwena and in the future of Namibia,” she said.

The governor said the President’s presence demonstrated the government’s commitment to development, investment, job creation and improved livelihoods.

“Our message is clear: Ohangwena is open for business,” Hamutumwa said. “To investors, entrepreneurs and the private sector: come to Ohangwena. Come and invest, build, create jobs and grow with us.”
