Hollywood’s go-to watch brand has a deep history with cushion-shaped watches that goes back over a century. It all started in 1919 when the Pennsylvania-based company released a timepiece called “the Cushion.” To make it, Hamilton took a small pocket watch movement, the calibre 981, and fitted it into a rounded square case that looked like a seat cushion.
