The accused, Mohd. Imran alias Ibbu, an autorickshaw driver and resident of Shanker Nagar in Saroornagar, was apprehended at around 8 p.m. on Sunday at an open place in Bhagath Singh Nagar following a tip-off. Police seized a country-made pistol, one live round and a mobile phone from his possession.
